Source Standards

Source quality is managed by trust, relevance, and editorial control.

Rasniti uses a mix of official, analytical, and regional news sources. Not all sources are treated equally in automation. Stable English sources are preferred for daily automatic pipelines, while noisier or mixed-language sources may be routed through manual review or translation-aware workflows.

Current source categories

  • Daily auto-safe: PIB, The Hindu, Indian Express, Down to Earth.
  • Rajasthan official supplement: DIPR Rajasthan.
  • Manual or tuning-needed sources: Rajasthan Patrika and Dainik Bhaskar when extractor quality or language controls need stricter handling.

Scraper controls

  • Approval mode can hold new content for review or publish automatically.
  • Language scope can be English only, Hindi only, or all configured languages.
  • Hindi source content can be translated into English before save when translation mode is enabled.
